- Environmental litigation: defense of environmental claims, including citizens suits, oil spills, toxic tort, trial and appellate court litigation under the various environmental statutes, prosecution and defense of contribution claims, and comments on and challenges to EPA rule makings in federal appellate court.
- Commercial lease restructuring to reduce tenants' costs and burdens.
- Real estate: mortgage loan financings, sale / leaseback transactions, and major office leases and subleases and Brownfield Redevelopment.
- Corporate finance: assisted venture capital firms in investing in environmentally sensitive projects (i.e., landfills acquisitions) through creating corporate structures to contain risk without resort to insurance "cap" and other policies.
- General litigation: an extensive background in trial court and appellate court litigation, particularly cases involving securities, antitrust, and toxic tort issues, and matters under the Administrative Procedure Act.
